However, it will be a frustrating thing if you have problems of importing video files to Sony Vegas, especially the video files are the so common MP4 files. Until I decided to do a lil change in the preferences. Sony Vegas Pro makes it easy to import and edit movies, images and music for creating your next video or audio masterpiece. It never happened before, so I thought there’s a problem with one of the materials that I used for the video, either it’s the PNG files, the screencast video, I didn’t know.

And Sony Vegas decided to stop to see me flip the table. sony vegas 16 Urgent for Project Sony Vegas 16 Crashing Problems: Sony Vegas Pro 12 Crashes while rendering: Sony Vegas Pro 13 Loading Screen Crash: Sony Vegas 14/15 stabilizator crashing: Sony Vegas Pro 13 Crashing while rendering. I made the change and still tried to render the video with the lowest size possible and the best quality possible. She gave me feedback to change this and that. So I just showed my co-worker the video I just made directly in Sony Vegas. I started swearing at my laptop but I know it’s not really his fault. I swear to God I wanted to jump from the building. Then I called one of my co-workers to show her the video I just rendered, and it stucked.

In the end I ended up with a 5GB file, AVI extension, and a less than 2 minutes video. I decided to change the format, size, framerate, everything. It took me hours before I completely rendered one video, well… I didn’t just sit and stare the screen. I understand, but I cant set a custom framerate of 60.000 (not 59.940) even in 'Sony AVC/MVC format'. You can still do Sony AVC/MVC its just going to be a little slower when rendering. The render destination folder is now used for temporary file creation during the render process to avoid inadvertently filling up the user’s C: drive.

Dragging a media generator to the Main Timeline Storyboard no longer causes a crash. Another thing I found with Sony Vegas is when I jumped from a 16GB machine to 32GB, Vegas ran really good and I think it helped my render times, but can't be sure since I also upgraded my video card at the same time (NVIDIA Quadro K3100M). Magix AVC/MVC is diffrent from Sony AVC/MVC, Magix is a lot faster with both cpu and/or gpu but you will get certain limitations. 32-bit projects created in older versions of VEGAS now open properly as 32-bit in VEGAS Pro 16. Note that allocating too much memory to dynamic preview may actually slow down Vegas overall. I like to keep about 20 free space, otherwise those portable drives seem to start getting slower. Whenever I tried to change the resolution/aspect ratio to 16:9 its fixed, but when I turn it to 1:1 it gives me the error. Ive even tried to change my setting on by one, and it seems the only problem is the resolution. Allocating more RAM to dynamic preview allows playback to be smoother (and dynamically render more content when using Shift+B). And heres the render settings: Ive tried resetting sony vegas, try restarting my computer and etc. I just constantly force closed Sony Vegas with Windows Task Manager. Answer (1 of 2): Check your settings in Options > Preferences > Video: 1. I'm tearing my hair out at this point, if anyone can help it would be great. One sunny morning I sat on my desk at my beautiful office in Stuttgart, Germany while staring at the monitor screen hoping the render progress bar of Sony Vegas would move.

Now, I had plans to update mysystem so I took it as maybe some setting in Sony vegas had gotten borked so I held off.ġ6 Gigs of DDR 3 Ram Clocked at 1600 (Stock Clocked)Ĭlearly the system has improved, so I upgraded to Vegas 12, and was sure my issue would be fixed. The video itself looked great but the file when played (And no isnt some kind of codec issue during playback as the file maintained the choppy-ness after being uploaded) would become incredibly choppy. Then it happened, the videos Id render in WMV would become choppy.oddly enough it was consistent across ALL videos Id render in 720p.

I have been having the most frustrating issue with Sony Vegas in relation to rendering in 720p as of late.įor the longest time my system could and would render videos properly, no issues, sure the render times may be a tad bit long but the videos came out great!
